They were all auto only, in fact between 1951 and 1999 you couldn’t buy any manual Lincoln.

And they look absolutely amazing murdered out in a high-gloss black.

I think manual swaps are easy on these because it’s a Mustang underneath everything.

I went to see this car 2-3 years ago . Drove ok and I really wanted a 5 speed Lsc again but there was too much wrong with it.

Engine had a blower before, then it was removed by the next seller and solid mounts felt like the plug was bad, or maybe it was.

Wish I bought it then. It was $2300

I’ve found that out with a Fox tbird. Several parts are the same, several parts are different, and you’re not exactly sure until you bolt them up sometimes. (Or other people on the forum figured it out already). Stupid things like rear shocks are different between the two just because of a different bracket.
